Hays school delights crowds

Posted on January 2, 2014 by Vauxhall Advance

It was a perfect night for a Christmas concert at Hays School; just cold enough to turn your cheeks pink with lightly falling snow.

We had a fantastic turnout and the audience was treated to a wonderful program. This year there was a little something for everyone from drama, to singing, to dancing to art.

Some of the highlights included: a line dance by our Grade 3-6 music class. During the performance of “Rainbow Connection” the audience was treated to a beautiful coloured light display. Our junior high students kept us laughing as they tried to explain a year’s worth of accidents and wrong doings to Santa in hopes of forgiveness. The Grade 5-6 class painted a magical country Christmas scene right before our eyes, and, of course, anything by the K-2 class is magical, but the crowd especially loved the “special gift” of blown kisses.
