Arriving at 7:24 a.m. at the Taber Hospital on Jan. 10, young Chason weighed in at six pounds five ounces and was a healthy 21 inches in length.
With their first child, proud parents Robyn and Brad Sekura were surprised Chason secured the much-coveted glory of a new year’s baby.
“It’s interesting,” said mother Robyn. “I’m surprised it went to Jan. 10 to have the new year’s baby. He was early for the original due date, and then they gave us a second due date, so he’s kind of in-between.”
The couple farms in the Vauxhall area, with Robyn originally hailing from Grassy Lake.
