Taber/Vauxhall RCMP report Oct. 22-Nov. 4

Taber/Vauxhall RCMP investigated a total of 62 calls for service for the two weeks of Oct. 22-Nov. 4.

Investigations included: Continuing calls for thefts in the M.D. of Taber, including copper wire from oilfield sites, theft of tools from a garage, theft of a purse from an unlocked vehicle, and theft of firearms.

Taber RCMP continue to investigate complaints involving suspicious persons and vehicles in the M.D. of Taber. RCMP continue to investigate incidents of 9-1-1 hang-ups to ensure the safety of those dialling 9-1-1. RCMP continue to receive complaints regarding other drivers on the highways speeding, tailgating and cutting people off, tickets and warnings have been issued to those located.

Did you know if you are a GDL driver you cannot have more occupants in your vehicle then seatbelts, you must have a zero level of drug or alcohol in your system to drive. Consequences for GDL driver’s under the influence of either drugs or alcohol is 30-day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle you were driving will be seized for 7 days.
