Retlaw 4-H members celebrate Achievement Day in mid-May

Members from the Retlaw Prairie 4-H Beef Club held their Achievement Day on May 15, 2021 at the Vauxhall Ag Society Rodeo Grounds. 

Members in the Beef and Sheep projects had a great day showing off all their hard work that they had put into their projects. 

Fortunately, the weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy an outdoor show. 

Jay Good from the Cactus Country 4-H District was both our Showmanship Judge and our Quality Judge for the day. Thank you to Jay Good for spending the day with us.

Our winners in all the quality classes will be dropped off to be judged for Districts on May 25, 2021 so that we can get our District Quality Champions.

Our project animals will be up for sale on http://www.dlms.ca on May 28, 2021. 

Buyers can log into dlms.ca and scroll down to the Taber & District 4-H Sale and place your bids from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

We thank all our past buyers and our buyers for this year for all your support. 

For now our Small Engines Project and our Horse Project are on hold right now because 4-H Alberta has paused all in-person project meetings due to COVID. 

Hopefully we will be able to go again soon and our members in these projects will be able to finish out the year on a high note.
