Know someone before judging them

In response to the article ‘Mennonite issues not limited to Taber, says council’, from the March 26th edition of the Vauxhall Advance.

Yes, there are issues with the Mennonite youth, and we are all concerned about it. I know that the ministers from all our churches are working with it. Please understand though, that the ministers are in the same situation as the police officers.

There are only so many ministers for a large amount of youth. However, we are not all like that. I know several youth myself who refuse to go to the big parties, and who are respectful, law-abiding teenagers.

There is good and bad in every race and culture. I ask only readers will get to know us personally before judging us all the same.
