Vauxhall RCMP looking for help in robbery

Last Friday, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a male entered the Scotiabank in Vauxhall and demanded money.

An undisclosed amount of cash was provided and the suspect fled the bank on foot.

The suspect did not show any weapons and no one was injured during the robbery.

Extensive patrols were made by Taber/Vauxhall RCMP with the assistance of Coaldale and Brooks RCMP, and RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS). Despite the extensive patrols, the suspect was not located.

RCMP Forensic Identification Services also attended the scene to gather evidence.

The male suspect is described as:

· Approximately 5’8” to 5’10”

· Slender in stature

Suspect was wearing: Blue Jeans; Orange and Yellow Reflective Vest; New York Yankees Ball Cap; A Balaklava and gloves.
