M.D. of Taber CPOs looking for tips on illegal dumping

The M.D. of Taber Peace Officer Program was dispatched to a report of illegal dumping on Township Road 9-4 between Range Road 17-0 and 17-1.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that heaps of roofing material had been thrown into the irrigation ditch and the road shoulder causing a dangerous road hazard as well as potentially clogging the drainage in the area. The roofing material had hail damage and appears to have come from a residence being repaired from the weekend hailstorm.

Peace officers have canvassed the area and are working on clearing up some video surveillance that might show a license plate.
