Investigation ongoing into Brooks attempted ATM theft

On Feb. 20 at 2:35 a.m., Brooks RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at Brooks Industrial Metals, Secure Energy.

They found locks to the front door were cut, and while an ATM inside was heavily damaged, there had been no successful entry into the machine.

Evidence has since been collected on scene, and police are in the process of gathering CCTV footage of the event. While three suspects are visible on CCTV, their identities were concealed.

It is believed they left in a vehicle, though RCMP do not know of the make or model at this time.
