Vauxhall Curling Arean Survey Results
Council reviewed the results of the curling arena usage survey, which focused on summer usage. During the summer months, out of 11 activities, according to survey participants the top uses were pickleball/badminton (15 per cent), indoor mini golf (14 per cent), bowling (14 per cent), volleyball (9.3 per cent), and yoga/fitness classes (9.3 per cent). For summer activities fees, 63.4 per cent suggested drop ins, 17.1 per cent from seasonal passes, 12.2 per cent from hourly passes, and 7.3 per cent from monthly passes. When asked whether they would attend summer activities at the curling arena, 83.8 per cent of survey participants indicated they would “likely” do so, with the remaining 16.2 per cent indicating “not likely”.
Intermunicipal Collaboration Application
Council received a letter from municipal affairs informing them their grant application for the 2025/26 Alberta Community Partnership program for the Regional Wastewater Treatment Feasibility Study ($200,000) was declined.
