The Central Alberta Hockey League regular season finally kicked off last weekend as the tiering round finished up. The U11 Vauxhall Sabres find themselves in Tier 4 Red alongside Magrath, Duchess, Taber, Brooks, and Vulcan.
The Sabres travelled to Magrath on Saturday morning for their first game. While Cameron Wolfe got Vauxhall on the board in the first period, Magrath would score four straight over the second and third periods to clinch a 4-1 win. Chance Crowson was between the pipes for the Sabres and the netminder made 21 saves on 25 shots.
