Vauxhall Academy of Baseball’s 16th Annual Golf Tournament will take place at the Vauxhall Country Club on Saturday, August 23.
“This is a fundraiser event for the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball however it is also a time for the Alumni players to come back and reconnect and connect with the current players,” said Lindsey Stober, Secretary for the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball.
Stober says that the tournament, which was organized by the Vauxhall Academy Board members, will begin with registration and lunch at noon and will be followed by a shot gun start at 1 p.m. The tournament, Stober says, will consist of a 9-hole Texas Scramble by a steak and lobster supper.
The entry fee, Stober says, is $100 per golfer and interested parties can enter as teams or individuals. Those interested in entering, Stober says, can email lindsay.stober@horizon.ab.ca for more information or they can also contact Scott Reiling or Les McTavish.
“Everyone and anyone is invited to attend the event,” said Stober.
