Alberta Environment and Protected Areas has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for the Oldman River downstream to the mouth. The river is running higher and faster than normal for this time of year.
The Municipal District of Taber has been monitoring the Oldman River as water levels continue to rise.
The MD of Taber Municipal Park remains open at this time. However, for your safety:
• Please stay well clear of the river’s edge
• Avoid entering the water
• Keep a close eye on children and pets
• Be aware that conditions may continue to change
