Rights or rites?

Editor’s note: “Victims” the reader is noting, are the people who have died from COVID-19.

Dear Editor:

Victims of COVID-19 cannot write a letter to the editor. Victims of COVID-19 cannot protest in front of the Taber Times and get their picture on the front page. Victims of COVID-19 cannot march in public places and shout through a bullhorn of the loss of all their rights. Who speaks for the dead?
