Regional representatives attend CPMA trade show

MD of Taber

The Municipal District of Taber has highlighted Taber being represented on the national stage.

In April, Councillor Turcato joined Team Alberta at the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) trade show in Toronto—Canada’s largest fresh produce industry event—bringing attention to the MD of Taber’s strong agricultural foundation and investment potential.

Strategically positioned at the heart of the agrifood industry, the MD of Taber is home to over one million acres of agricultural land, two major transportation corridors connecting Canada from coast to coast, and close proximity to three international border crossings. Councillor Turcato helped share this story with industry leaders from across North America and beyond.

Working alongside partners from Invest Alberta, Canada’s Premier Food Corridor, the Government of Alberta Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, and the Town of Taber, Team Alberta focused on building relationships, sharing regional insights, and generating new opportunities in the agribusiness sector.
