Vauxhall Curling Club Wind-Up Bonspiel this weekend

The Vauxhall Curling Club will play host to a ‘wind up’ 2 vs. 2 bonspiel on March 13 and 14.

“We are having this event as a wrap up for the curling season,” said Leavitt Howg, user, coach, and volunteer at the Town of Vauxhall recreation facility. “It’s a fun way to end the season with all involved.” 

Howg explained that it costs $80 per team to enter and that the cost will cover three games as well as a pizza of the team’s choice for supper from Nonna’s Pizza.

“People will be able to curl, watch the games or just visit with others that are there,” said Howg.

Howg said that those who are interested in registering to play can contact Cameron Vissers at 403-915-1709.

“Even though we had a late start to the year, it has been an overall success and we are happy to showcase the work that has been done and to end the season with a fun event,” said Howg.
